Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Nursing Director to lead our nursing department at our skilled nursing facility in Lovington, NM. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and ensuring that our residents receive the best possible service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with at least 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility. They will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of nurses and certified nurse aides. The successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of state and federal regulations governing long-term care, as well as a commitment to providing resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staff assignments, mentoring, and education.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the nursing department, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
