At ELB Automotive Inc, we are looking for a skilled Service Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and our technicians.
Job DescriptionThis is a customer-facing position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Service Consultant, your main responsibility will be to schedule appointments, write estimates, and convey all necessary information to customers.
The ideal candidate will have two to four years of related experience and/or training in automotive repair or a related field. A strong background in mechanical software programs and computer literacy is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments with customers and technicians
- Write detailed estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Convey necessary information to customers, including cost, parts, and work required
- Contact customers regarding additional work or extra costs
- Monitor service progress with each technician
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
