About the Role
This is a long-term opportunity for a senior technical specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud-based services. You will work closely with DevOps teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines using Python, SQL, and JavaScript on Snowflake and AWS
- Develop and maintain frameworks using stored procedures and Python to simplify design patterns
- Build and deploy data APIs (Web/REST APIs) using Python and FastAPI
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to standardize deploying Python applications
- Resolve overnight batch issues escalated by offshore teams

Requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and collaborate with global teams
- Experience with data warehousing, OLTP, OLAP, dimension, facts, and data modeling
- Expertise in implementing Python design patterns and building data applications
- Experience with AWS services, including S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS, etc.
- Familiarity with application and libraries packaging and distribution, such as Wheel packages, Zipapp, and Docker containerization
- Experience working in financial services, preferably buy-side firms
