Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students with speech and language disorders to identify areas of need.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication difficulties, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions that support students' academic success and promote effective communication.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Therapy Services: Provide therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current GA Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or eligibility.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
