In this position, you will greet visitors, manage their reservations, and ensure a seamless experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an active presence on the floor for an 8-hour shift in a vibrant, fast-paced setting.
- Welcome guests, complete their registration, check them in and out, provide room keys, and securely process payment information.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Manage incoming calls and handle room booking requests, both online and in-person, while providing information on room rates, availability, amenities, loyalty programs, and special requests.
Administrative Duties:
Ensure all guest account details are accurate and current.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to confirm that accommodations are prepared for guests.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with reservation management systems.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in the hospitality sector as a front desk agent or in a comparable role.
- Experience in handling phone inquiries and managing challenging situations effectively.
- Strong time management, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
