Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Travel Healthcare Professional to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a leading national per diem, local contract, and locum tenens agency, we deliver high-quality candidates to our clients while adhering to strict and ethical recruiting standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care efficiently and effectively through practice and communication with patients and other staff.
  • Assess patient condition, administer medication, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education.
  • Coordinate care plan for patients to ensure best outcomes.
  • Follow policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Work independently under supervision to implement care goals for patients.
  • Competently assess the patient on a regular basis.
  • All other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) knowledge.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program.
  • Active unencumbered RN Texas state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.

Requirements:

  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
