Job Overview

North Cobb Christian School seeks a dedicated and experienced Transportation Professional to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bus at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 25 years of age.
  • Current Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and at least 1 year of experience driving with students.
  • Required Background Check and current Motor Vehicle Report.

Personal Qualities:

  • A personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • Evidence of spiritual maturity with a commitment to glorifying and honoring God in all areas of life.
  • A strong clear Christian testimony.
  • A mature, godly spirit.
  • A person of faith and prayer.

Working Conditions:

  • Monday – Friday.
  • Comply with policies as stated on the Employee Agreement and in the Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
  • Know the procedures for dealing with issues of an emergency nature.
