Soar Autism Center is a leading provider of interdisciplinary clinics for children with autism and their families. As a Clinical Fellow in Speech Language Pathology, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with seasoned SLPs to plan and implement naturalistic speech therapy for young children ages 1-5 years old.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 per year, plus benefits. Our comprehensive benefits package includes quality medical, dental, and vision plans, a company 401K with company contribution after a year of service, and 11 company holidays plus 15 additional days off.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement naturalistic speech therapy for young children ages 1-5 years old in a center-based setting.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists).
  • Develop communication interventions for young clients, including but not limited to AAC devices, to support client communication.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals to plan and implement effective programs for young kids, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • License to practice speech pathology.
  • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
  • Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children.
