About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to join our team at Pediatrix Medical Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct newborn hearing screens in a hospital setting, providing education and support to parents and caregivers.
  • Enter patient data and validate hearing screen results accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with confirming or rescheduling outpatient appointments, as needed.
  • Follow protocol for timely submission of billing and adhere to hospital, company, and program policies.
  • Recognize potential problems and obtain assistance when necessary, in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Experience working with infants and in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry are required.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments, work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays is required.
