Role Summary:
The Project Manager is tasked with the effective execution and oversight of dewatering, bypass pumping, or trenching projects as designated by the Operations Manager, Division Leader, or Branch Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed successfully, adhering to timelines, budget constraints, and safety protocols. The Project Manager is dedicated to achieving optimal customer satisfaction while safeguarding the interests of MERSINO DEWATERING LLC and contributing positively to the team's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for clients on all assigned field projects.
- Oversee projects from initiation to completion, coordinating the necessary personnel and equipment for effective execution.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations throughout project duration.
- Understand project expectations and contractual obligations, ensuring adherence; participate in progress and critical issue meetings, documenting outcomes and informing leadership of significant developments.
- Monitor project progress while operational activities are ongoing, collaborating with Crew Leaders to ensure specifications are met.
- Prepare and manage daily progress reports (e.g., Driller Reports, Wellpoint Reports, Pump Water Reports).
- Identify opportunities for project enhancement and propose additional services to clients as needs arise.
- Document and track project developments, changes, and challenges; communicate updates to the Branch leadership team.
- Assist in project estimation and proposal development tailored to specific client needs.
- Support the collection process as required.
- Participate in industry events to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and agreements are completed and filed prior to project commencement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to adapt work hours to meet project demands.
- Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Physical capability to engage in intermittent periods of strenuous activity, including walking, standing, lifting, and maneuvering equipment.
