Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Costello's Ace Hardware in Bellmore. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use the E.C.E.T. process to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Greet every customer and answer questions about products and policies
  • Be aware of all promotions and advertisements, and recommend related items to customers
  • Maintain a neat and clean store environment, including the sales floor and back stock area
  • Assist in the training and development of peers, and actively participate in daily huddle meetings
  • Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards, and report any safety concerns or missing merchandise to management
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
