About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Outpatient Therapist to join our team at Kingwood Counseling Center LLC. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-office or telehealth sessions to patients as requested
  • Conduct initial Psychosocial Assessments, formulate Treatment Plans, and determine diagnosis
  • Conduct family sessions as appropriate to support the patient
  • Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to work toward established goals and alleviate distressing symptoms
  • Coordinate care with prescribers
  • Provide timely documentation to support medical necessity
  • Collaborate with our Clinical Director or treatment team as needed and work cooperatively with our administrative team

Requirements

  • Must have a license to practice in the State of Texas (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • Must have liability insurance
  • Must be dedicated to providing quality mental healthcare
  • Prior mental health experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting required
  • Able to make and honor a one-year minimum commitment
  • Minimum requirement of 30 hours per week
  • Must be culturally aware and able to work with a diverse population
  • Professional demeanor and appearance required
