Respiratory Therapy Supervisor

At MultiCare Health System, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to join our team. This is a supervisory role that requires the coordination and supervision of work performed by assigned professional staff engaged in respiratory care activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients of MultiCare, operating independently under limited supervision. This position will provide direction and guidance to assigned Respiratory Therapists and other non-nursing professionals, depending on the assigned unit.

The ideal candidate will possess specialized training and experience to perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care. This includes establishing therapy and treatment objectives and reviewing care based on the age and needs of the patient.

Requirements for this role include an Associate's degree or 2 years of additional experience in lieu of degree, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and a Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy training program. Additionally, the candidate must be Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care, have 2 years of experience in a professional or technical role/function, and be Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with the State of Washington. Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership or supervisory role are also required.
