Job Overview

KITCHEN ASSISTANT/ASSISTANT CHEF - PART-TIME - RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

The selected candidate must be flexible with working hours to meet the demands of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contributes on a part-time basis, both independently and collaboratively, to buffet-style service for Hormel Foods events, which includes setup, cleanup, dishwashing, as well as some preliminary home-style food preparation, serving, grocery procurement, and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Independently manages meal service in the absence of the head chef.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated initiative.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for culinary arts.
Preferred
  • Experience in food service.
  • Experience in high-volume cooking.
Familiarity with kitchen operations is essential.
