Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacist is a key member of the Montage Health team, responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients. This role requires a strong commitment to quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, assess, and provide pharmaceutical care according to hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Manage pharmacy protocols, provide inpatient medication order screening and verification, patient consultations, and complete job functions and documentation timely.
• Respond to emergency situations, including codes, and cross-cover the Inpatient Pharmacist when needed.
• Develop and implement plans of care, and oversee Pharmacy Technicians.

Requirements:

• State of California RPH (Pharmacist) license is required.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required.
• ACLS must be completed prior to completion of the introductory period and independent assignment.
• Board certification preferred.
• DEA license required and must be completed at the end of the introductory period.

Work Environment:

Varied work hours, with the possibility of shift differentials.

Pay Range:

$93.18 to $124.58 per hour, based on years of applicable experience.
