We're offering a competitive salary of $7,500 with a Sign-On Bonus for this exciting opportunity.
In this role, you'll work under the general direction of the Manager Pharmacy Inpatient Operations and be responsible for evaluating physician orders for appropriateness, completing order verification, monitoring medication effectiveness and safety, validating products prior to dispensing, and assisting with inventory management. You'll also provide patient care services and serve as a resource for drug information to the medical and nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate medication orders and patient profiles for drug/drug and drug/allergy interactions and therapeutic duplications.
- Makes recommendations to providers and documents interventions.
- Participates in monitoring medications for safety and effectiveness.
