Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role involves the assembly of actuators according to specifications using a variety of hand and power tools. A background in hydraulic systems or fluid power is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of assembled components within set timelines.
  • Conduct daily assembly tasks while adhering to the quality management protocols.
  • Perform final inspections on assembled parts.
  • Execute pressure testing on components.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including timekeeping, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical drawings.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities such as general maintenance and housekeeping as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in mechanical assembly within a relevant industry is preferred.
  • A degree in fluid power technology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, including hydraulic presses.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time efficiently.
  • Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude are preferred.
  • Familiarity with various computer software applications.
  • Capability to read and utilize measuring instruments.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the qualities of GWC – (Gets the role, wants to do it, Capacity to do it).
