Job Summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Bedford Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and administer patient care within the scope of your training and expertise.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • Provide nursing care to adult and pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee.
  • 1 year of experience in emergency nursing or a related field.
