Job Summary

Brevard Public Schools is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems, and implement solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six (6) months experience in common electrical applications, or currently enrolled in an accredited vocational certification course.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years verifiable field experience.
  • Valid State Driver License.
Working Conditions

The Electrician will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
