Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health and behavioral health needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote patient well-being and recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing (RN) required; Bachelor's degree in nursing (RN) preferred
- Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi-state/compact RN license
- Minimum six (6) months of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct patient care setting; experience in a behavioral health facility preferred
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire preferred, ACLS preferred
