About the Job:

Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment to patients with respiratory disorders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including those with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient respiratory function.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
