Michaels is a leading creative destination in North America with over 1,300 stores across 49 states and Canada. We operate in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and we're always looking for talented individuals who share our passion for creativity and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate multiple events simultaneously, including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
- Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
- Execute Company policies and standards
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members
- Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms

Requirements:
- Must have experience working with children and children's events
- Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills
- Retail and/or customer service experience required
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
