Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in a multiple specialty acute care facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Department-specific experience in PACU, ED, or ICU.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize assignments, and work independently as well as collaboratively with the team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
