About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Behavior Therapist II to join our team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct therapy to assist children in developing maximum cognitive, language, self-help, social, and motor skills.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical, occupational, speech-language, and music therapists, as well as early childhood special educators and Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
  • Train and educate students, interns, volunteers, and patient families on behavioral techniques and strategies.
  • Support the maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment in the Pathways classroom and other areas.
Requirements
  • Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, conduct individual and group treatment sessions.
  • Assist in the organization of data and individual children's programs.
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills, with a commitment to professional accountability and growth.
