The Position

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach our Fitness for Life course (HHP-160) on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in a health-related field and previous teaching experience at the college level.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. They will be able to design and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Responsibilities will include teaching three contact hours per week, developing and implementing course materials, and assessing student learning outcomes. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to departmental initiatives and participate in faculty development programs.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in a health-related field (or Bachelor's with significant professional experience)
  • Previous teaching experience at the college level (preferred)
  • Strong passion for teaching and commitment to student success
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging lesson plans
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect
