Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will play a vital role in conducting sleep studies and providing accurate diagnoses and treatment of sleep disorders.
Responsibilities- Conduct polysomnographic testing and procedures in accordance with established protocols and patient needs.
- Monitor and analyze patient data during sleep studies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, and ensure the cleanliness and functionality of testing environments.
- Collaborate with our team of sleep physicians, technologists, and therapists to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Provide detailed reports and documentation of sleep study results.
- Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography Program or equivalent training and experience.
- One year of experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) credentialed by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will also be considered.
