KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FOREMAN

Leadership and Management
  • Effectively communicates tasks and updates to the team before, during, and after each project.
  • Trains team members on installation techniques, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensures the safety of the team at all times.
  • Motivates and recognizes team efforts.
  • Reports to the Production Manager regarding team performance and any job-related challenges.
Installation Duties
  • Operates Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, and other machinery for excavation, trenching, and backfilling tasks.
  • Demonstrates comfort with hydraulic systems and equipment operation.
  • Reviews job specifications prior to departure, ensuring all necessary materials are loaded.
  • Assesses job site conditions and makes necessary adjustments upon arrival.
  • Delivers high-quality installations, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Handles payment collection upon job completion.
  • Completes all required documentation and submits it to the appropriate personnel.
Exceptional Customer Service
  • Maintains communication with clients throughout the project using the company's messaging system.
  • Informs clients of any changes to the job before modifying the original proposal.
  • Ensures the job site is left clean and takes proactive measures to improve the condition of the client's property.
  • Strives to provide clients with an outstanding experience.

Requirements
  • Experience in construction or related fields is essential.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment and power tools is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with at least one year of experience in construction trades, or a combination of education and experience demonstrating a solid track record in this area.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Capability to work from floor level or in crawl spaces.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
