Switchyard Manager

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is a leading provider of railcar repair services, and we are seeking a skilled Switchyard Manager to join our team at our full-service rail tank car repair shop in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

• The estimated salary for this position is $27-$28 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for working 2nd shift hours.
• You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the switchyard, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all railcars are moved safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
• You will identify and address any potential hazards or issues in the switchyard.

Requirements

• You must possess a High School Diploma/GED or be able to successfully complete an on-site basic skills assessment.
• You must have a valid driver's license.
• You must be able to work effectively and efficiently both as a member of a team and independently.
• You must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• You must be dependable and reliable to show up for scheduled work shifts, including overtime.
