About the Role: As a Preconstruction Specialist at K2 Staffing, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preconstruction effort for various disciplines, including quantity survey, subcontractor solicitation, and independent research of specified items. You will be responsible for preparing consistently accurate, detailed, quantity surveys, identifying, researching, and obtaining relevant information through independent research related to items for quantifying or soliciting subcontractor proposals, and developing complete project cost estimate packages for projects in a range up to $5m, depending on complexity.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree within the construction field.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, estimating software, and scheduling software.
  • Careful attention to detail and resourcefulness in acquiring project-specific information.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively manage multiple tasks under differing deadlines.

Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including group medical, vision, and dental insurance, company-paid Short- & Long-Term Disability plans, group Life Insurance, and AD&D plans, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plans, untracked vacation time, sick leave accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked with a carryover of 80 hours, 9 paid Holidays each year, Paid Parental Leave, Annual Discretionary Bonus based on company profitability and performance assessment, and a 401(k) savings plan with a 100% match and a 50% match for the next two percent deferral.
