Assembly Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team at PrideStaff. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for completing assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Create high-quality assembled automotive parts in a safe and efficient manner, meeting scheduled shift quotas.
- Manage inventory following established guidelines and procedures, including labeling and locating parts, picking parts from appropriate locations, and recording and communicating inventory levels.
- Read, learn, and interpret blueprints and work instructions to complete the assembly of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards.
- Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to maintenance and standards.
- Practice problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for continuously improving products and procedures.
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED), 2-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.
- The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
