Position Overview

We are looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee our warehousing activities. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for the overall management of warehousing functions. Key duties include:

  1. Overseeing the operations related to finished goods and component inventory.
  2. Ensuring timely and accurate receipt and storage of products.
  3. Coordinating shipping processes to guarantee that products are available, properly packaged, and accurately documented.
  4. Evaluating product quality to maintain efficient workstation operations and appropriate material usage.
  5. Collaborating with production teams to maintain adequate stock levels for both production and service item shipments.
  6. Documenting and tracking inventory movements within the warehouse management system.
  7. Monitoring warehouse space to ensure safe and efficient racking conditions.
  8. Maintaining clear aisles and adhering to 5S organizational practices.
  9. Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  10. Conducting routine safety checks and maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  11. Setting up and troubleshooting labeling machines and scanners.
  12. Promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with safe work practices.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
