Job Title: Senior CVOR Radiology Technologist

Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior CVOR Radiology Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Radiologic Technologist to perform special/invasive radiology procedures on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular operating room procedures and excellent technical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform special/invasive radiology procedures on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.
  • Help maintain appropriate patient flow and ensure delivery of quality services in the department.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical skills and act as a resource and mentor to staff and less experienced technologists.
  • Review incomplete exam list and unsigned report status routinely.
  • Function as a liaison between physicians, technologists, and department support staff.
  • Enter and monitor patient data and health history as pertinent to the exam being performed.
  • Perform quality assurance on radiology equipment and recommend equipment modifications.
  • Maintain safety, environmental, and infection control procedures for the department.
  • Help schedule technologists to ensure appropriate staffing for expected patient volume.
  • Intervene with patients to help resolve complaints and issues.
  • Responsible for supply management.
  • Take emergency call within the department.
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors; adhere to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications.
  • Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.
  • Demonstrate commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
  • Four (4) years of prior experience as a Special Procedures Technologist.
