Ensure Safety Compliance.

Actively promote a culture of safety within the workplace, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

Follow established safety procedures and environmental guidelines diligently.

Maintain and Repair Equipment. Conduct servicing, repairs, adjustments, and testing on Concrete Ready Mix Trucks and associated machinery. Execute routine preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustments, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs. Address issues related to hydraulic systems, lighting, braking systems, suspension, and air conditioning. Keep the workspace clean and organized.

Conduct Equipment Inspections. Perform thorough inspections on all mobile machinery to identify and diagnose issues. Execute repairs to rectify identified defects as necessary.

Create Maintenance Records. Document all repairs and services performed by generating detailed work orders, ensuring clarity and accuracy in reporting.

Facilitate Communication. Engage with team members to ensure effective and safe maintenance practices for vehicles.

Utilize Tools and Equipment. Operate various tools and machinery, including cutting torches, hand tools, jacks, grinders, and drill presses.

Engage in Physical Activities.

Participate in physical tasks that involve extensive movement and the use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.

Additional Duties. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:
Experience. Previous experience in mechanical maintenance is advantageous.
Certifications. MED HVY Truck ASE Certification is a plus.
Communication Proficiency. Ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve issues.
Basic Mathematical Skills. Competence in basic arithmetic and understanding measurement units.
Adaptability. Willingness to work extended hours and overtime as required by operational demands. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and endure exposure to elevated noise levels.
