Restaurant Host/Cashier

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery - CyHawk Hospitality Inc. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the flow of business in the dining room, and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

• Host Activities and Guest Interaction
  • Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests upon arrival and departure.
  • Use greeting, seating, and waiting list procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • Anticipate and correct any system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
• Cash Handling and Sales
  • Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Sell bakery items and offer suggestions for take-out orders.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance
  • Ensure the cashier area, bakery cases, and displays are clean and well-maintained.
  • Keep the lobby area, entryway, and guest restrooms clean throughout the shift.
• Assisting Crew Members
  • Process to-go orders and assist servers with pre-bussing procedures.
  • Perform side work during downtime, including rolling silverware, restocking cleaning supplies, and bussing tables.

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies, equipment issues, and safety problems.
• Keep the General Manager and Manager on Duty informed of problems and propose alternative solutions.
