Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to established protocols. This will include preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately, and monitoring radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform high-quality CT scans, ensuring accurate and timely results for diagnostic purposes.
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, addressing their concerns and needs throughout the imaging process.
  • Radiation Safety: Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols, minimizing exposure to patients and staff.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, obtained within one month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), required prior to hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medicine Tech from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, Computed Tomography, or Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications

We also value applicants with experience in nuclear medicine or radiation therapy, as well as those with associate's or bachelor's degrees in relevant fields.
