Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the culinary operations of Gecko Hospitality's kitchens, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and exceptional guest experiences.
- Recruit, develop, and supervise a team of skilled kitchen professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to drive menu innovation, quality control, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef Assistant in a high-volume, scratch kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
