Aircraft Protective Finishes Technician

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Protective Finishes Technician to join our team at Unical Aviation, Inc. in the United States.

This is a full-time position with a salary of approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have 1-3 years' experience in application of aircraft protective finishes or related experience. The role involves working with moderate supervision, preparing and applying protective finishes to aircraft components in accordance with repair station rules and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective verbal and written communication skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply various protective finishes to aircraft components and shop tooling
  • Clean, prep and mask aircraft components and shop tooling for application of protective finishes
  • Document maintenance completed in accordance with federal regulations, repair station rules and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
