Job Summary: The Cash Handling Associate is responsible for executing cashiering tasks, which include processing cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, providing change, and compiling cash reports. This role may also encompass general food service responsibilities while upholding sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Input all sales into the cash register to ensure precise recording of purchases.
  • Issue change, accept various payment methods, and provide receipts to customers.
  • Adhere to established procedures for processing cash refunds.
  • Engage with customers to address and resolve complaints in a courteous, service-oriented manner.
  • Manage assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with cash drawer standards.
  • Monitor customer purchases and maintain appropriate portion sizes.

  • Keep the pastry display well-stocked.
