Position Overview:
This role involves executing consistent and routine cleaning tasks as part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and providing linen services within the Medical Center and its associated properties. The position ensures compliance with sanitation standards and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

(35%)* Carry out assigned duties following established procedures, guidelines, and verbal instructions.

(35%)* Perform cleaning and maintenance of various units, rooms, and facilities, including but not limited to showers, sinks, toilets, refrigerators, and patient care areas.

(30%)* Utilize cleaning agents, tools, and equipment effectively, including mops, vacuums, and floor machines.

Additional Duties:

Conduct miscellaneous cleaning tasks such as maintaining surfaces, equipment, and furniture, as well as managing floor care including stripping and waxing.

Operate various carts for transporting soiled linens, trash, and supplies throughout the facility.

Handle and dispose of medical waste in accordance with safety protocols.

Manage the washing and drying of linens, including sorting, folding, and organizing clean linens for storage.

Engage in ongoing training and education as required, demonstrating proficiency in technology and software applications relevant to the role.
