Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to join our team at the American Swedish Institute. As a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service, process sales transactions, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Welcome all customers, provide information on products, answer questions, and assist with merchandise selection in the Museum store and the Julshop.
  • Sales and Operations: Process sales transactions, restock inventory, and operate POS and electronic scanning equipment to record sales.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store and inventory rooms, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-year retail or customer service experience.
  • Education: H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Skills: Basic math skills to count accurate change and sales, basic computer skills to operate the POS, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds often, and go up and down stairs several times a shift.
Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $15.88/hour.
