Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire and Rescue Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a Fire and Rescue Instructor, you will be responsible for providing training and certifications in technical rescue and firefighting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs in technical rescue and firefighting
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in a classroom and hands-on setting
  • Assess student knowledge and skills through evaluations and assessments
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in fire and rescue training
Requirements
  • SCFA course certifications and 3 years of instruction experience
  • Minimum 5 years of firefighter and technical rescue experience
  • Working knowledge of rope rescue, SCBA's, and firefighting equipment
