Responsibilities:- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and MRI scanners, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of waste.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related modality.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a radiology setting, with a strong background in imaging procedures and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods, with frequent bending and reaching.
