Job Summary

Reach Medical Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Maintenance Training Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch training to our aviation mechanics, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to perform maintenance activities with excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Development: Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance training records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver regular and ad-hoc training to maintenance personnel on topics such as hydraulics, fuel systems, powertrains, and airframe familiarization.
  • Curriculum Development: Assist in the development of maintenance training curriculums and courses, ensuring they meet the needs of our aviation mechanics.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate maintenance training events, including factory, recurrent, and continuing education training.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to maintenance employees, answering general maintenance training questions and addressing their needs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the National Director of Aircraft Maintenance Standards & Education to develop and implement training programs.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
  • Experience: 5 years of helicopter maintenance experience, with a minimum of 2 years working under CFR part 135 HAA environment and base duties
  • Skills: Experience functioning in a supervisory, project manager, or inspector capacity; prior training experience in the rotor wing industry and/or Methods of Instruction training (MOI)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RAMCO: 2 years of experience with RAMCO required
  • Experience as an AMT: 2 years of experience as an AMT with EC145 experience
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs; must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs
Environmental Conditions
  • Work Environment: Office and classroom environment occasionally; occasionally working in a hangar environment and may be subject to extreme heat conditions
