Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Evening Shift: 2:00pm – 11:00pm
Work Location: San Jose, CA
Compensation: $22.00/hr. (Dependent on Experience)
Position Summary:
The Material Quality Inspector is responsible for the thorough examination of received components, materials, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections on incoming materials, including but not limited to hardware, printed circuit boards, electronic components, cables, harnesses, and wires.
- Document all inspection activities by creating detailed inspection reports, first article inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate closely with procurement and engineering teams.
- Assist in establishing methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for effective inspection.
- Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications for parts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Receiving Inspection.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of blueprint reading.
- IPC 600 Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO13485 and other ISO standards.
- Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, screw checkers, thread checkers, microscopes, and CMM machines.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
