About the Position: YAI is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing direct care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This includes implementing treatment plans, training staff, and promoting person-centered philosophy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology or human services, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Implement treatment plans and provide training to staff.
- Promote person-centered philosophy and use person-centered tools.
- Develop written, individualized habilitative plans.
- Conduct assessments and design effective data collection systems.
- Oversee the completion of all required paperwork.
- Provide therapeutically documented level of supervision to ensure and protect the individual's health/safety and well-being.

Requirements:

- BA/BS Degree in Psychology or Human Services strongly preferred.
- Experience working within the field of ID/DD preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Highly flexible to varied work schedule.
- Experience in computer skills and ability to teach others.
- College level writing ability.
- Must demonstrate assertiveness/leadership skills.
- Must demonstrate clinical skills.

Compensation Range: $22.00/hourly.
