Job Summary
The Boston Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for managing security compliance for our software and data offerings in alignment with industry standards and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security compliance frameworks to ensure alignment with AICPA's SOC 1 and SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compliance gaps and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Work closely with auditors to gather security audit evidence and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry best practices.
  • Conduct reviews of deliverables to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Escalate issues to management with informed recommendations and ensure clear and expedient communication.
  • Identify and leverage lessons learned and best practices from audits to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Requirements
  • Broad working knowledge of security compliance frameworks, including SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO 27001.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with security compliance audits.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with computer science, cybersecurity, and risk management degrees preferred.
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate conference calls outside of regular working hours.
  • Strong work management and work ethics, with ability to work successfully within a cohesive and matrixed team environment.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to project confidence and trust.
About the Role
This role will report to the head of Governance & Risk Management for BCG X and sit within BCG's Information Security team, working closely with product and engineering, security, and IT teams.
