Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our patient care team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform licensed hygiene procedures, including exposing and evaluating diagnostic x-rays, taking and recording blood pressure, and conducting adult and child prophylaxis.
- Manage the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist, including determining needs and performing sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed.
- Verify and document patient health history, educate patients about oral hygiene and health, and provide information about procedures and services offered.
- Establish and maintain continued patient care relationships, ensuring a positive and personalized experience for each patient.
- Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school.
- Current hygiene license where employed.
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law.
- Experience with dental software.
