Perfusion Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Perfusion Technologist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will assist procedural physicians in performing angiographic and special procedures for adult and geriatric patients.

• Prepare rooms and patients using strict sterile technique
• Coordinate with various departments to achieve optimal patient care
• Operate and perform diagnostic and C-arm procedures utilizing various systems
• Capture proper charges on a daily basis
• Perform diagnostic procedures as needed
• Work extended duty and on-call shifts as required

• California CRT and Fluoroscopy certification
• A.R.R.T. certification preferred
• Venipuncture license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Basic dysrhythmia course required
• Hemodynamic monitoring class preferred
• Completion of intra-aortic balloon pump class
• Yearly supplemental competency validation

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
