STAND 8 Technology Services is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our Technology Solutions team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Interview business stakeholders to gather requirements and use cases.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements.
- Document features of the existing system and research current use cases to support a new system.
- Create low-level mocks, wireframes, and workflows to define system and business needs.
- Write epics and user stories around system requirements and define acceptance criterion.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate built solutions meet business needs and specifications.
- Utilize Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira to manage user stories and project tasks.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT business analysis, with a focus on documenting requirements and functional specifications.
- Prior experience mapping out existing applications for modernization or rebuild is required.
- Experience with workflow or data mapping tools such as Visio or Lucid to map out relationships and diagrams.
- Experience writing functional specs (FRDs) and business requirement documents (BRDs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create innovative solutions using technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in the media and entertainment industry, particularly with Film or TV systems is preferred.
