Job Description

Job Summary:

Colorado Autism Consultants is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ABA therapy under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to individuals with a wide range of developmental, social, and emotional diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and interests.
  • Collaborate with BCBA supervisors to engage in skills training and professional development opportunities.
  • Work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA and related fields.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with special needs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
  • Able to pass a thorough criminal background check.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, kneel, and engage in active physical play with children.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in psychology, education, human services, or a related field.
  • Active RBT certification.
  • Bilingual fluency.
  • Individuals currently enrolled in BCBA coursework.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $16-$20 per hour for RBTs not pursuing BCBA coursework.
  • $19-$22 per hour for RBTs enrolled in or finished with BCBA coursework (Consultants in Training).
